Washington's First Congressional District for The New York Times

Last week I drove around the new 1st congressional district of Washington trying to capture some of the diverse economic flavors that are represented throughout the area. Besides capturing some of the candidates fighting for the congressional seats, I attempted to capture some feature shots of the area, which turned out to be a fun excuse to poke around in some of the small towns that are scattered through the area.
