Neah Bay for The New York Times

Neah Bay is an incredible place. It's not everyday you get an assignment to drive to a beautiful place and are tasked with creating beautiful imagery. It has been a long stretch of business portraits so I was happy to get back to some candid assignment work. Having never been to the northwest tip of the OIympic Peninsula I was not sure what to expect. I knew it would be windy and I knew it would be cold, but beyond that I had no expectations. The first day, reporter Bill Yardley and I trudged through ankle deep mud to get a look at Shi Shi Beach and watched the waves crash against incredibly jagged rocky pinnacles. It was also nice to visit the Take Home Fish Company and try out some of their amazing smoked salmon. Here are some photographs from the shoot. View Article Here>>>

Great stuff. Saw this online in the Times, but I love seeing the deeper edit.
