Sometimes assignments don't turn out the way you had hoped. Originally I was planning on heading to Neah Bay for a shoot that didn't pan out. Fortunately the great editors at The New York Times filled my day with another interesting shoot, although, not nearly as exciting. I was tasked with photographing the viaduct in Seattle for a story about the proposed tunnel that would replace the existing elevated highway. Mayor Mike Mcginn adamantly opposes the proposed tunnel, which would be a very costly endeavor. Here are a couple of shots from the afternoon. View the Story Here>>
